Mixers and Elixirs

Mixers and Elixirs is a local Vancouver company that launched in 2015 and produces small batch, fruit based Shrubs in their Strathcona commissary.

Shrubs are also knows as drinking vinegars, which are fruit based concentrates that were a byproduct when fruit was shipped with vinegar to preserve it, prior to the days of refrigeration.

Shrubs are best used as a creative addition to cocktails, they can also be mixed with soda water for a refreshing non-alcoholic drink. When poured sparingly, the slight acidity in the Shrub perks up the taste buds and harmonizes with other flavours. Curious? Try one today.
