Dawn is a graduate of NSCAD and maintains a private art practice from her home studio in Strathcona. She studied traditional printmaking and worked in commercial printing for several years before transitioning into communication design. Dawn enjoys working with local print makers and experimenting with various printmaking techniques. Her appreciation for the work and dedication of Porchlight Press inspired her to create a collaborative piece using a series of her drawings of Strathcona's Queen Anne homes. Dawn will be bringing letter press pieces posters, dishware and totes. Proceeds over cost of those featuring her series of illustrations will be donated to the Community Centre's Breakfast program.
